Olivia & Ryan are from Prince Edward County, so for their engagement session they decided to make a getaway weekend & come to Ottawa, which is half-ish way for both of us! When we were trying to decide on a place for their session, Olivia said that she wanted something a lil’ unconventional, so we set our hearts on the city core!
We lost light faster than I expected due to something else I didn’t want to expect: Rain. But these two were determined to get their photos done this weekend, so we made it work.
Between them being super up for anything (even if it means walking across the same crosswalk a few times for the shot) & having their own ideas as we walked around Byward Market, it was a perfect mix.
We even used parking garages & anything with a lil’ extra light to help us out. They both still somehow looked AMAZING despite the rain & humidity (I can’t say the same for us, & that’s why we don’t have a photo).
Speaking of us, Josh came along with me just for funsies & to be a coat rack. He also came up with a few fun ideas as well, which is great to just have another person to bounce ideas off of.
Ryan made sure that I knew that the photos of them in front of the Delorean car at the end were certainly his favourite. To each their own, haha!
