These two might be the most laid back in the best way couple I’ve ever had the experience to work with & it was wonderful.
Josh & I got to do this wedding on a Tuesday together at a Airbnb in Maple Leaf, ON (basically the middle of nowhere, but it was one of the prettiest drives to get there!). We started with all of the details of her dress & rings & his watch.
Then we got Camille right into her dress & got those photos with mom that everyone wants (they’re some of my favourite photos from my wedding day) of her zipping up her dress. Fun fact: this is almost always faked because the actual zipping of the dress sometimes leads to some unflattering faces & movements, so we always completely get the bride in the dress & then add mom in for these cute photos.
It was then time for the FIRST LOOK. Which, okay, this was one of the greatest first looks of all time, simply because he shouted “HOLY SHIT” the moment he saw her & if that’s not what we’re all looking for, I don’t know what is.
We took a few photos of just the two of them with the beautiful leaves on the road & then got back to the main event.
The ceremony happened right in front of the most beautiful blue water with his brother acting as the officiant. It was a beautiful lil’ ceremony with their own written vows that were just the sweetest.
The family photos came right after the ceremony, with no wedding party, these were simple & sweet.
Speeches came next & the way they were done was really interesting! With such a small wedding, almost everyone came up to give a speech, so it was really wholesome & special.
We did some more photos of just the two of them on the dock (because how could you not with a view as beautiful as that one??). These two were just up for anything &, like I said before, super laidback.
And as the sun set, we dragged them back to the road (thank goodness they were laid back, haha!) to get those last minute photos of them.
They had their dinner as a vegan grill-out around a roaring fire & I just thought that was the cutest thing.
Right before we left, we got the cake cutting in of their vegan cake. & that wrapped up the whole day.
