Calabogie Forest Wedding – Morgan & Adam

To start off this wedding day, I went to the Neat Cafe’s AirBnb in Calabogie, Ontario to capture a few quick getting ready photos & then a few quick photos of the groom’s side of the family. They were all so SO sweet & the side yard of the AirBnb had the most beautiful view of water & bushes & it was just magically perfect.

The venue was just a five minute drive (if that!) to Morgan’s parent’s house. It’s the same place we did their engagement photos, so I had a pretty good idea of what we were working with. I ran around to capture details of all of their beautiful decorations before the first look.

The first look was my favourite part of this day. We went to the covered back porch so that no one could see & everyone (including me) was in tears. She looked absolutely beautiful in one of my favourite dresses of the wedding season & she had a CAPE, which was so much fun. Seriously just a beautiful moment that I was so entirely thankful to be apart of.

Once the first look wrapped up & tears were dried & make up fixed, it was time to get these two married!!! I loved how they split up their wedding party, because instead of guys on his side & girls on her side, they just had their people on their side, which I think makes so much sense! They also did something really special where the mom’s led the ceremony, which was so sweet to include people you care about so much.

After the ceremony & all the hugs came family photos & wedding party photos! They went by so quickly, but had a lot of laughs along the way.

Then we went out to the road to take some photos of just the two of them & WOW did they rock it! Between her cape & just them looking amazing, we took some of my favourite photos.

Morgan’s step-dad then brought out a 4-wheeler with a trailer attached that said “Just Married”, which was so sweet. They did a couple of rounds around their neighbourhood with it & then that’s actually how they got to the reception later!

After the trailer, we got a few photos with friends before they were loaded back up & we all made our way to the restaurant.

Once there, Morgan showed the field behind the restaurant that looked so pretty, so we were able to get some extra photos of just the two of them there! This time without the cape & with a fur shawl instead. She looked so glamorous.

I was able to capture some of the people inside the restaurant as well as some of the decor. It was such a pretty little place & Morgan & Adam were able to make it there’s as well!

This was such a special day, I’m so thankful I was able to be apart of it! Thank you, Morgan & Adam! <3
