I remember the moment that I got the initial inquiry for Brandy & Connor’s wedding. I was in the Dallas/Fort Worth airport, on my way back from visiting family. I was SO excited because they just seemed like the absolute DREAM couple… But I was already booked. I cried. Literally. Cried. Fast forward quite a few months, COVID had reared it’s ugly head into our lives & my wedding couples were moving & post-poning dates. Brandy emailed me, just to make sure I was still booked for their date, but that couple had post-poned so I could finally do their wedding & it was as if it was fate all along. So we planned their engagement session at Westmeath Lookout & the rest was history.
Well, not quite. Because I’m, of course, going to tell you all about their wedding! (That’s kind of the whole point of this). I started my day with the girls & their getting ready! With hair by Valley Roots & make up by Carman from Glamatron Studios , the girls all looked absolutely perfect.
The ceremony was on the water at a family friend’s property & it was breathtaking! They got married right on the beach basically on a beautifully sunny day.
After the ceremony, we went into family photos (which were a HOOT) & wedding party photos (which they were such a good-looking bunch), & were so easy to do with all of them.
Then was my favourite part, the couples photos! (well second favourite to the sunset ones, but you get the idea). These two were so in love & clearly obsessed with each other it was so sweet.
The rest of the evening was filled with dinner from Ullrich’s , cake cutting, & the absolutely tearjerking speeches.
With the first dance following that, in front of the altar on the beach, it was probably one of the most romantic things I’ve witnessed.
The exit was so much fun with sparklers & them leaving on a boat! Which I raced them in my car to their next spot to capture some sunset photos & blue hour photos, which was so much fun.
These two felt more like friends than anything else on their wedding day & I am overjoyed to have been able to been part of their day. <3
